Magnet

 What Happens: Josie becomes magnetized.

What's Involved: Z mentions iron in the body, and wonders how such a small amount could become magnetized.

Just how much iron does she have?

Well, the average-sized adult has about three grams. Of course, Josie's amount is obviously less than this. Other ferromagnets exist in the body as well, but also in minute quantities.

So, can it be magnetized?

Technically, yes– but it would be extremely weak.

Now, human bodies do generate weak magnetic fields on their own. This is due to the electrical nature of neurons. Shock a person, and he may become (although temporarily) an electromagnet.

However, a charge sufficiently big enough to do anything would probably kill a person. I know, bummer.

As well, her ability to attract and repel individual objects at will is puzzling.

Obviously, the vortex is a big factor.

Final Verdict: Possibly possible (BH only.)
