What Happens: ghhj
What's Involved: Hmm, haven't we seen something a little like this before? Maybe at the very end of the first season? If you don't know what episode I mean, click here. You need to read that first anyway.
Okay. Got it? Now, as much as I am skeptical of the possibility in that episode, in this one, I may seem to have changed my tune. Why?
While none of the options previously listed are feasible regarding human beings, such non-biological devices are not necessarily excluded from them. As Z states, technology is constantly being streamlined and improved, making previously bulky gadgets available in smaller, more efficient styles.
Of course, there is obviously a final limit on the absolute smallness allowed for each item, but remember, as they are far less complex than living things, this limit has not yet been reached.
Even so, let's look at our two options again:
1. Removal of matter, and
2. Compression of matter.
So, #1. Removal is completely probable. As say, a computer is not actually alive, having fewer atoms does not necessarily affect its performance. However, there is the question of "Where did the extra stuff go in the mean time?" since it obviously came back.
Option #2. dxgjsgjhfrcehhr
